The girls in action.
As far as we can tell there has never been a Maugherow Hurling team in the school. That changed recently when not one, but two teams represented the school at indoor hurling.

We acquitted ourselves well coming away with a win for each team against St. Brendan’s from Sligo town. We were not so lucky against Rathcormac who beat both our girls and boys sides on the way to winning the competition. Well done to them.

We will have hurling coaching every Friday for the next six weeks joining our football coaching which happens every Thursday and started last week.
